In my opinion... as a Bama fan, but also a football fan, I try to be objective [as much as possible] concerning other in state programs. The vast majority of my friends are Auburn graduates, and in the day I went to Jordan-Hare to watch Vincent Jackson play football as no one else can or ever will, and more than a couple of times. With that having been said, I hope my words are taken not as a Bammer just hatin'. Auburn is a team with good talent, BUT the talent is spread thin. Over the long season in the SEC so much has to go your way to be successful, and the Tigers didn't always catch the breaks. Auburn raised the hopes of everyone with this season's success, the team is better, and headed in the right direction. Take the vast improvement from last year, build on that. And be proud of what has and will be accomplished.

The future looks awfully bright for this Tiger team. Winning 7 (and possibly 8) games is a giant leap in the right direction. Let's just hope CGC keeps this train moving-- no effin duck hunting trips when he should be recruiting.

IMO the thing I liked most of the game was " Auburn had several opertunities to quit, but as ugly as it might have been, they kept getting up and fighting and finnally found a way to win." With what we have coming back and suppose to be coming in, it can be even a better year next year. WAR DAMN EAGLE

saben may not be, but you are, if you wasn't you would'nt be here or almost every post has something about us Barners. Go ahead and talk your 13, you have them, it brought alot of ya back out of the closet you have been hideing in for the last several years. But just a note for you, and I know close only counts with horse shoes and hand gernades, but, the Barners should have had more chances to play for a NC since you Bamers won your last one, and most likley the only one you can even remember. The las Pres. election showed how voteing for something is screwed, win one like Troy State, on the field. And no, I'm not saying Bama was not the best team this year, have a playoff and then you will know who is left standing at the end. Then you will know who is the NC. Not a real big fan of the star system, but it looks like we picked up some very good people. I like what the Chiz said about getting good players that will fit at Auburn. Hats off to the staff on recruiting, alot of hard work will pay off. AUBURN is no USC, nor Fl, not even Alabama, BUT Thank GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
