If you're asking which QB was the best in the SEC championship game...tha's HANDS DOWN McElroy..easy call to make. Overall for the weekend...I'd have to say PIKE from Cincy as far as pure performance and stats.

Tony Pike was 22 of 44 for 302 yds completion % of 50 longest pass went for 68 yards. he threw 3 interceptions and 3 touchdowns 116. 52 qb rating. Was credited with 4 rushes for -11 yards (won the game)
Greg McElroy was 12 of 18 for 239 completion % of 66.7 longest pass went for 69 yards he threw 0 interceptions 1 touch down and had a 196.54 qb rating. he also ran the ball 4 times for 10 yards. (won the game...roll tide!)
Case Keenum was 56 of 75 for 527 completion % of 74.7 longest of 57 yards 5 touchdowns 3 interceptions 147.69. 7 rushes for 12 yards. (lost the game)
These were the three mentioned, and the stats came from ESPN. That being said do you want to stay with who you picked or go another route? I honestly can't decide.

Well...personally, I CAN"T pick a QB who's tossed 75 passes during the course of a "normal" football game..that's just WAYY over the top.....so, did he put up a bunch of yardage..sure he did..but, who cares? To me...McElroy was the best that day...but, given the choice week end and week out...who's been more consistant, as well as has the best chance at being drafted HIGH.....Pike is the man as far as I'm concerned...he came through when the game was on the line and, in so doing, completed an undefeatedseason that is going to award Cincy a chance to play Florida in the Sugar Bowl in Nawlins....now, let's see how he does against a SOLID defense...hopefully, Florida won't be like Bama was last year, and not show up for the bowl game.

I think I will stick with G MAC. He blew me away this weekend. Everybody was saying that Florida would win because Tbow would be the difference in these two teams. Mac emerged as the dominant QB and leader Saturday. I look for Mac to be THE best QB in college football next year. Defending Bamas NC and winning TWO in a row!! ROLL TIDE ROLL

ROLL TIDE ROLL I'm not saying that McElroy wasn't impressive...he was....but there's a pro style QB that's currently playing for the Hawgs of Arkansas who's also QUITE IMPRESSIVE...ya might wanna consider what he's done with an average O-line in front of him.

I agree, Mallet is good. But he wasn't playing last weekend, was he? Between McElroy and Mallet, I would choose Mac.

I don't think he played last weekend, but Troy's QB has impressed me all year with his gritty style, pretty good runner and passer.

Yeah, I agree with ya....I'm looking forward to see how he'll fair passing against stiffer competition when we take on Central Michigan down in Mobile...BTW, that game will be played the evening before the BIG GAME...January 6th with Bama and Texas squaring off on the 7th.
